Changes Implemented by NTA for Exam City Selection
What has NTA done regarding the exam city?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised its policy to allow candidates to select up to two cities based on their current and permanent addresses for the examination. The NTA assures that every effort will be made to assign a center in one of the selected cities. If a center cannot be allocated in either of the chosen locations, the NTA will ensure that candidates do not have to travel excessively far.
Response to Candidate Complaints
Decision taken after complaints
In previous NTA entrance exams, candidates expressed concerns about being assigned centers located far from their homes. In response, the agency has decided to allocate centers based on the candidates' current and permanent addresses. The application window for CUET PG will be open from December 14 to January 14, 2026, with the entrance examination scheduled for March 2026. Candidates can complete their online applications at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ and nta.ac.in.
Application Guidelines
A candidate can fill out only one form.
The NTA has emphasized that each candidate is allowed to submit only one application form. Those who submit multiple applications may face penalties. It is crucial for students to accurately provide their email addresses and mobile numbers in the application, as the NTA will communicate important updates via registered email and SMS.
