RBI will issue Rs.10 notes with security features

Reserve Bank of India will issue new note of Rs. 10 with improved features. This note will be of Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005 with inset letter ‘L’ in both the number panels and will have the signature of RBI Governor Urjit Patel.

Ex Puducherry Minister M. Chandrakasu passed away

Former Puducherry Minister M. Chandrakasu is no more now. He died of renal failure at a private hospital in Chennai. He was 67 years of age. He was elected as Congress legislator from Neduncadu reserved constituency in Karaikal in 1980.
