Important Notification for Class 12 Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a crucial notification for Class 12 students regarding the verification of their evaluated answer sheets. An online application process has been initiated for students to report any discrepancies in their answer sheets and to request re-evaluation. Students are required to submit their applications through the designated portal before the deadline. The entire procedure will be conducted online, and it is essential for students to log in using their Aadhaar number. The Board has emphasized the importance of verifying all details while completing the application form and ensuring timely payment of the required fees.

Login Process via Aadhaar Number

To initiate the application, students must access the official CBSE website and log in using their Aadhaar number. After logging in, they can choose either the 'Verification' or 'Re-evaluation' option based on their needs.

Application Deadline

The application window opened on June 2, 2026, and will close at midnight on June 6, 2026. The Board will not accept any requests after this deadline, whether submitted online or offline. Students are urged to be mindful of this final submission date.

Fee Structure for Verification and Re-evaluation

The fee for verifying errors in the scanned answer sheets is set at ₹100 per sheet. For re-evaluating a specific question, a fee of ₹25 will be charged. Payments must be made through online methods, including UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.

Reasons for Verification Requests

Students can request verification for various reasons, such as missing pages in the scanned copy, absence of supplementary answer sheets, unclear maps or graphs, blurred pages, or if the evaluation seems to have been based on an incorrect answer sheet. Multiple subjects and issues can be included in a single application.

Important Points for Re-evaluation

When applying for re-evaluation, students must provide specific details, including question numbers and page numbers. All requests related to subjects and questions must be submitted before finalizing the application. Once the 'Freeze and Proceed to Payment' option is selected, no further modifications can be made.

Tracking Application Status

CBSE has stated that only one application for verification and one for re-evaluation will be accepted per student. After successfully submitting the application and payment, students can check and download the status of their requests through the portal. The verification results will be made available to students once the process is completed.
