CBSE Class 10 Results Announcement



On Wednesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revealed the results for the Class 10 examinations for the 2025-26 session. This year, the results were published nearly a month earlier than usual, giving students additional time to strategize for their upcoming academic pursuits. An impressive 93.70% of candidates successfully passed the Class 10 exams, with girls once again outperforming their male counterparts.


Performance Breakdown

The pass rates were notably different between genders: 94.99% of girls passed, while the boys had a pass rate of 92.6%. Regionally, the Trivandrum area achieved the highest performance. The examinations took place from February 17 to March 10, 2026, and for the first time, a dual-board examination system was utilized. Students can access their mark sheets and certificates through DigiLocker, with schools already receiving the necessary PINs.

Girls' Performance Highlights

In the 2026 CBSE Class 10 results, girls have once again demonstrated exceptional performance. The statistics indicate that girls achieved a pass percentage of 94.99%, slightly down from 95.00% in 2025. Boys, on the other hand, saw a marginal increase in their pass rate to 92.69% from 92.63% last year.


Transgender students recorded a pass percentage of 87.50%, a decrease from the previous year's 95.00%. In terms of institutional performance, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) excelled with outstanding results.
