BHU PG Admission 2025: Revised Schedule and Important Dates Announced

Candidates must report in person from September 6 to 8, with seat allotment set for September 10. BHU PG Admission 2025 Updates


Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has made changes to the admission timeline for the postgraduate mop-up round for the academic year 2025-26. The reporting period and seat allotment dates have been extended. Candidates must report in person to their respective departments or centers from September 6 to September 8.


Seat Allotment Date: September 10


Following the in-person reporting, departments will post the merit list and seat allotment details on the notice board by September 10 at 4 PM. The initial date for seat allotment was set for September 8. The university published the list of available seats for the BHU PG 2025 mop-up round on September 4, which was postponed from September 3.


The official announcement stated, "The university has adjusted the dates for candidates to engage in the mop-up round admission process and report physically to their respective departments at the main campus of Banaras Hindu University. The eligibility criteria and other relevant details will remain the same. Consequently, the upcoming dates have been modified."


Fee Payment Guidelines: Candidates are required to make the fee payment within 48 hours after the results are declared. The fee payment link on the student portal will be accessible starting at 6 PM on September 12, a change from the previously scheduled date of September 11.
