Uttar Pradesh Board Announces 2026 Exam Timetable for High School and Intermediate Students
Overview of the 2026 Examination Schedule
The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has unveiled the timetable for the upcoming high school and intermediate examinations scheduled for 2026. According to Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, both examinations will commence on February 18 and will conclude on March 12, 2026. Students can access the UPMSP Date Sheet 2026 by visiting the official board website, upmsp.edu.in. Detailed timetables for 10th and 12th grades, organized by subject and date, are available in the table below.

The first examination for high school will be Hindi and Elementary, while the last paper will cover Agriculture. For intermediate students, the initial paper will also be Hindi and General Hindi, with the concluding paper being Computer and Sanskrit on March 12. Below are the exam dates for all subjects:

Exam Timings and Shifts
Timings and Shifts for Board Exams
The UP Board will conduct the examinations in two shifts: the first shift will run from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, and the second shift will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
Participation Statistics
Over 5.2 million students will participate in the board exams.
A total of 5,230,297 students have registered for the 2026 board exams across both classes. This includes 2,750,945 students in high school, comprising 1,438,683 boys and 1,312,263 girls. For the 12th grade, 2,479,352 students are registered, with 1,303,012 boys and 1,176,340 girls.
Practical Exams Schedule
Practical exams may be conducted in January.
Practical examinations for both high school and intermediate classes are expected to take place in January 2026, prior to the board exams. These practicals will be held in schools.
Admit Card Distribution
Admit cards for the exams will be available from the schools.
Admit cards for the UP Board exams will be distributed to schools shortly before the exams commence. Students should reach out to their respective schools to collect their admit cards from their class teachers or principals. It is important to note that these cards will not be available online.
