UPTET TGT Exam Date: Exciting news has emerged for the numerous candidates awaiting competitive exams in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has revealed the timetable for significant examinations scheduled for 2026. This includes the dates for the Lecturer, Trained Graduate (TGT), and UP TET exams. As per the announcement, all educational institutions across the state will be closed on the examination days.
On the days designated for the UPTET or TGT exams, the commission will not conduct any other examinations. This measure aims to alleviate any potential issues for the candidates. The last UPTET exam took place in January 2022, and after a four-year hiatus, the commission has now set the official dates. Additionally, the dates for the Lecturer and TGT exams have also been confirmed for those involved in teacher recruitment.
UP Teacher Eligibility Test Details
Deepak Kumar, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Department, announced the examination schedule. He confirmed that there are currently no plans to alter the exam dates. The written exam for Lecturers is scheduled for October 15-16, the TGT exam for December 18-19, and the UP TET for January 29-30, 2026. All educational institutions will remain closed on these dates to facilitate candidates' travel to their examination centers.
