The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the schedule for the NDA and NA Exam 2, set to take place on September 14, 2025. This examination will be conducted in two shifts across various centers nationwide, with a total of 406 positions available for recruitment.

Exam Schedule and Format

Exam Shifts

The examination will occur in two distinct shifts:

1. First Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

2. Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

The mathematics section will carry a weight of 300 marks, while the General Ability Test will be worth 600 marks. Candidates who successfully complete the written exam will be invited to participate in the SSB interview, which is valued at 900 marks.

Exam Structure

The exam will consist of objective-type questions, available in both Hindi and English. Candidates are prohibited from using calculators, mathematical tables, or log tables during the exam. Additionally, assistance from a writer will not be permitted.

Successful applicants will gain admission to various defense institutions, including the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, and the Officer Training Academy in Chennai.

Admit cards are expected to be released approximately one week prior to the exam date. Candidates can download their admit cards by entering their application number and date of birth. It is essential to present a valid photo ID, such as Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID, along with the admit card to gain entry to the examination center.
