UPSC Geo-Scientist Interview Schedule Released for 2025

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for the Combined Geologist Examination 2025, set to begin on September 23. Candidates who passed the written exam will participate in personality tests, with e-call letters available soon. The interviews will be conducted in two daily sessions, and travel allowances will be provided under specific conditions. A total of 296 candidates have been selected, including geologists, hydrogeologists, geophysicists, and chemistry candidates. UPSC Geo-Scientist Interview Details


Interview Schedule Announcement: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the interview timetable for the Combined Geologist Examination 2025. Candidates who have passed the written exam will undergo personality tests starting from September 23. E-call letters will soon be accessible on the official UPSC websites: upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.


Interview Sessions:
The interviews will occur in two daily sessions. The commission has stated that no modifications to the scheduled date and time will be permitted. The timetable includes candidates' roll numbers, interview dates, days, and session timings. Each day will feature sessions at 9 am and 1 pm.


Interviews commence on September 23.


E-call letters will be available shortly on the website.


Travel allowances will be provided only for second/sleeper class train fares.


A total of 296 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.


Candidates will receive travel allowances.


There is a provision for travel allowances for candidates traveling from outside areas. However, the commission has specified that allowances will be granted only under certain conditions. Candidates will be reimbursed for second-class or sleeper-class train fares (mail/express).


To claim this, candidates must submit a hard copy or printout of their ticket along with a filled TA claim form (in duplicate). Claims that do not adhere to the rules will be denied.


Interview Candidates Breakdown:
Out of the total, 296 candidates selected for interviews include 64 geologists, 135 hydrogeologists, 69 geophysicists, and 28 candidates from chemistry/chemical subjects.
