UPPSC Vacancy 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of Polytechnic Lecturers for the academic year 2025-26. A total of 513 positions are available across various engineering, technical, architecture, and non-engineering fields.
Applications will be accepted online from December 2, 2025, until January 2, 2026. Candidates will also have the opportunity to make corrections to their applications until January 9, 2026. The selection process will involve multiple stages, including a written examination, an interview, and document verification.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Engineering and Technology positions, applicants must possess a first-class BE/B.Tech/BS degree in the relevant engineering discipline. Those without an engineering background should hold a first-class bachelor's and master's degree in the pertinent field.
For Non-Engineering and Architecture roles, candidates must have a first-class Master's degree in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or English. For Architecture, a B.Arch. or a four-year first-class degree in Architecture or a related area is required.
Application Fees:
The application fee varies based on the candidate's category. Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates are required to pay ₹225. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates must pay ₹105, while Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) will pay ₹25, and Ex-Servicemen will also pay ₹105.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern:
The recruitment will follow a multi-stage selection process. Initially, candidates must take a written examination consisting of two papers: General Hindi and General Studies, along with a subject-specific paper. The exam will feature a total of 250 questions, with a maximum score of 750. Note that negative marking will be applied for incorrect answers.
Salary Structure:
Successful candidates who clear the examination and interview will be appointed following document verification. The selected individuals will receive a salary in the range of ₹56,100 to ₹57,700 at Level 9A or Level 10, as per the 7th Pay Commission, excluding additional allowances.
