NEET UG 2025 Counseling Update: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced modifications to the NEET UG 2025 counseling timeline. This update brings clarity to the eagerly awaited second round of counseling. A new schedule has been issued detailing the registration and choice filling dates for this round.

Important Dates for Second Round Counseling:
Candidates can register for the second round of counseling from September 4 to September 9, 2025. The choice filling process will commence on September 5 and will conclude on September 9. Candidates will have the opportunity to lock their choices from 4 PM to 11:55 PM on September 9.


The seat allotment will take place on September 10 and 11, with results being announced on September 12, 2025. Those who secure a seat must report to their assigned college between September 13 and 19 to finalize their admission. Verification of student data will occur on September 20 and 21.

Steps to Apply for NEET UG 2025 Counseling:



  1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.


  2. Click on the registration link for MCC NEET UG Counseling 2025 Round 2 on the homepage.


  3. Complete the registration form with your details on the new page.


  4. Carefully fill out the application form.


  5. Pay the required application fee.


  6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.


  7. Print it for your records.



Extended Deadline for First Round Seat Withdrawal:
Candidates wishing to relinquish their seats from the first round of NEET UG 2025 can now do so until September 3, 2025, without forfeiting their security deposit.


Additionally, the portal for obtaining a PWD certificate for the second round is now open and will remain active until 5 PM on September 5, 2025. Eligible PWD candidates can visit designated Disability Centres to acquire their certificates in accordance with NMC guidelines. MCC has introduced 13 new Disability Centres for PWD/PWBD candidates this year.
