Important Announcement for SSC MTS and Havildar Recruitment



The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to commence the recruitment examination for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar positions starting September 20. Candidates can expect the exam city slip to be released soon, allowing them to prepare for their journey by accessing details about their designated exam city. This slip will be available for download on the official SSC website.


Admit Card Release Date


The admit cards for the MTS exam are anticipated to be available for download approximately 3 to 4 days prior to the exam date. Given that the examination period spans from September 20 to October 24, 2025, candidates can expect the admit cards to be issued around September 17 or 18.


Steps to Download the Admit Card


To obtain the SSC MTS Admit Card for 2025, follow these steps:


1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.


2. Click on the admit card link on the homepage.


3. Enter the required information, such as your registration number, roll number, and date of birth, then submit.


4. Your admit card will appear on the screen, ready for download.


Exam Structure


The MTS Havildar examination will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Paper 1 will consist of 20 questions each from Numerical and Mathematical Ability, as well as Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. Paper 2 will include 25 questions from General Awareness and 25 from English Language and Comprehension. Candidates will have 45 minutes to complete both papers.


The total number of vacancies has now increased to 8021. Initially, SSC planned to fill 4375 MTS positions and 1089 Havildar roles, but an additional 2557 posts have been added, bringing the total to 8021.
