The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the schedule for the UGC NET December 2025 examination. As per the notification available on the official site, the exam will take place from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026.

The NTA has informed that the exam city slip, which includes details about the exam location, will be accessible on the website ten days prior to the exam date. Application Process and Deadline
Candidates interested in taking the UGC NET December session exam can submit their applications until November 7, 2025. Applications can be completed via the official website or through the direct link provided.
To apply for the UGC NET, visit the official site, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. On the homepage, click on "Registration for UGC-NET DEC 2025 is LIVE!" found under the LATEST NEWS section.
On the subsequent page, select "Register yourself for the above-mentioned examination" and fill in the necessary details to register. After registration, complete the remaining sections of the application form, upload your photograph and signature, pay the required fee, submit the form, and print a copy for your records.
Application Fees
The application fee structure is as follows:
- General/Unreserved candidates: ₹1150
- OBC and EWS candidates: ₹600
- SC/ST/PH candidates: ₹325
Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.
