UGC NET December Admit Card Released

Admit Card Availability: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially issued the admit cards for the UGC NET December 2025 session. Candidates scheduled to take the exam on December 31st can now access their admit cards via the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

To obtain the admit card, candidates must enter their application number along with either their password or date of birth. The UGC NET examination is set to begin on December 31st.

Examination Schedule and Format

Exam Details:
The UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted by the NTA using a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format for a total of 85 subjects. The exams will take place at various centers nationwide on the following dates: December 31, 2025, January 2, 2026, January 3, 2026, January 5, 2026, January 6, 2026, and January 7, 2026.

The examination will occur in two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Paper 1 will include 50 questions focused on Teaching and Research Aptitude, while Paper 2 will consist of 100 questions based on the candidate's selected subject. The total exam duration is 3 hours.
