SSC Announces Exam Dates for Stenographer and Hindi Translators Exams

The Staff Selection Commission has announced the exam dates for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination and Stenographer posts. Exam Schedule Released by SSC

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has unveiled the examination timetable for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination (CHTE) and the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination. According to the announcement, the Stenographer exams are set to take place from August 6 to 8, while the CHTE is scheduled for August 12, 2025.

This recruitment initiative aims to fill 261 positions for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’, along with 437 vacancies for CHT roles.

In addition, the Commission has updated the exam dates for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. Candidates wishing to modify their online applications can do so at ssc.gov.in from August 4 to 6, 2025.

This recruitment drive is set to fill 4,375 MTS positions and 1,089 Havaldar roles. The computer-based tests are planned to occur between September 20 and October 24, 2025.
