GATE 2027 Registration Update



New Registration Timeline: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has updated the registration timeline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) will now be accessible starting August 27, 2026, a shift from the previously planned date of August 14.


According to the revised schedule, candidates can submit their applications during the regular registration period until September 27, 2026. An extended application window will be available until October 5, 2026.
