How to Register for GATE 2027

Total Test Papers for GATE 2027

With the addition of the Robotics and Automation (RA) paper, GATE 2027 will now feature a total of 30 test papers. Candidates are allowed to appear for a maximum of two papers, but they must choose from the approved combinations.

Revisions in GATE 2027 Syllabus

The syllabus for GATE 2027 has been revised. IIT Madras has updated the syllabus, particularly for the Biotechnology paper, and made changes to the sectional paper codes for Textile Engineering and Fibre Science, Engineering Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Life Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2027

Students who are currently in their third year or higher of an undergraduate program are eligible to register for GATE 2027. Additionally, candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities can also apply.
