The Rajasthan Police Department has officially announced the new examination dates for the Constable recruitment. According to the notice released by the office of the Director General of Police in Jaipur, the written examination for 10,000 Constable positions will take place on September 13 and 14, 2025. Candidates can expect the admit cards to be available on the official websites police.rajasthan.gov.in or recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in approximately one week before the exam date.
Exam Date Change and Candidate Details
Originally scheduled for July 19 and 20, the Rajasthan Police Constable exam has been rescheduled to September 13 and 14, 2025. Over 525,000 candidates have applied for this exam, including 425,000 for General Duty, Driver, and RAC positions, and 100,000 for IT roles. The examination will be conducted across all district headquarters in Rajasthan.

- All questions will be objective and based on OMR sheets.
- The written exam will carry a total of 150 marks.
- There will be 150 questions, each worth 1 mark.
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for incorrect answers.
- Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam.
- General, OBC, EWS, and MBC candidates must score at least 40% to pass.
- SC and ST candidates need a minimum of 36% to qualify.
- No minimum passing marks will be enforced for local candidates from Tribal Sub-Plan areas.
- Five times the number of candidates will be shortlisted based on the exam results.
