NEET UG 2026 Application Correction Window Opened


New Delhi: Candidates applying for NEET UG 2026 now have the chance to make corrections to their applications. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a window today for applicants to amend their details in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 application form. This is significant news for all registered students. Those who have completed their registration can edit specific details in their application forms through the official website from March 12 to March 14, until 11:50 PM.


Important Advice for Candidates

Before making corrections, candidates should keep a few points in mind. The agency has advised applicants to carefully verify their details and make necessary corrections within the stipulated time. The NTA has clarified that this correction window is a one-time opportunity, and no further chances will be provided after the deadline.


Exam Schedule

The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2026 (Sunday) from 2 PM to 5 PM. This entrance exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode (offline) at various examination centers across India and abroad.


Registered candidates are advised to thoroughly review their application forms before the deadline and make any necessary corrections. After March 14, 2026, the NTA will not accept any requests for modifications under any circumstances.


Purpose of the Examination

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is a crucial national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses (MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, and AH) in India. This exam, organized by the NTA, covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a total of 720 marks. It has replaced previous examinations like AIPMT.
