Introduction to B.Ed with Graduation

B.Ed with Graduation: The journey of a professional career truly begins after completing 12th grade. Selecting a graduate program post-12th is essential. However, with the introduction of the New Education Policy 2020, students can now pursue dual pathways for their careers after 12th grade. Admissions for these graduate programs are now open for the academic year 2026-27. For instance, students can now enroll in a B.Ed. program right after 12th grade while also pursuing a graduate degree. This is facilitated through a four-year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP). Notably, ITEP degrees can be obtained from prestigious institutions such as IITs and NITs, with the application process currently underway.

Streams Available for B.Ed with Graduation

The new education policy has introduced a four-year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) starting from the 2026-27 academic session, providing students with dual advantages. Students can earn a B.Ed. degree alongside their graduation in various streams including Science, Arts, and Commerce. This means that students can complete a B.Ed. in conjunction with a BA, B.Sc., or B.Com. within four years, or eight semesters. Previously, a two-year B.Ed. was mandatory after graduation, but this new structure saves an entire year.
