NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Card Download Issues Addressed by NTA
Technical Difficulties in Downloading Admit Cards
Candidates attempting to download their NEET UG 2026 re-exam admit cards are encountering several technical issues. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that these problems stem from server overload and technical glitches, but a dedicated technical team is actively working to resolve them.
Admit Card Release and Current Status
The NTA announced that the admit cards for the NEET UG re-exam, scheduled for June 21, 2026, were released on June 14. Following this announcement, a significant number of students accessed the official portal simultaneously, leading to a surge in website traffic. Consequently, many candidates are experiencing server errors, slow website performance, login page loading issues, and session timeouts.
As of now, over 400,000 candidates have successfully downloaded their admit cards. However, some candidates are still facing challenges in accessing the portal or obtaining their admit cards. The NTA has assured that all eligible candidates will receive their admit cards in a timely manner.
NTA's Appeal to Candidates
The NTA has urged students not to panic and to regularly log in to the official website for updates. The agency stated that its technical team is continuously working to enhance server capacity and ensure smooth portal operation. The NEET UG re-exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM on June 21. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination center, as entry will not be permitted without the admit card.
Information Included in the Admit Card
The admit card contains essential details such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination center address, reporting time, and important instructions related to the exam. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all information on the admit card after downloading it. Additionally, the NTA has provided crucial information regarding bank verification requirements. Some candidates may need to update their bank account information on the portal, which could increase server load and extend processing time. This step is essential.
The NTA recommends that candidates prepare all necessary documents and information related to their bank before logging in. This will expedite the verification process and prevent any issues during the admit card download. For bank account verification, candidates should have their full name (as per bank records), bank account number, and a copy of a canceled check ready. Providing accurate information will help avoid problems in subsequent stages of the process.
