Importance of the City Intimation Slip

This slip will assist candidates in organizing their travel plans. However, it's important to note that the city intimation slip solely indicates the exam city and should not be confused with the admit card, which does not provide the specific address of the exam center. The NEET PG examination is scheduled for August 30, 2026, and will be conducted in a computer-based format. The admit cards will be available on August 27, and the exam will take place in over 340 cities nationwide.

Difference Between City Slip and Admit Card

NEET PG 2026 Exam Structure

  • Question Count: The number of questions has been decreased by 10%, from 200 to 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Marking Scheme: The total marks have been adjusted from 800 to 720.
  • Timed Sections: The NEET PG question paper will consist of 5 mandatory sections, each containing 36 questions, with a time limit of 42 minutes per section. The section will automatically lock after 42 minutes.


NEET PG 2026 Result Announcement

Result Declaration: After the NEET PG exam on August 30, the NBEMS will announce the results by September 30, 2026. Candidates will undergo Aadhaar authentication and biometric verification at the exam centers. Therefore, it is crucial for candidates to arrive at the center on time as specified in their admit cards.
