NEET-PG 2025 Examination Delayed

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the postponement of the NEET-PG 2025 exam, which was initially set for June 15, 2025. This decision comes in light of a Supreme Court directive mandating that the exam be conducted in a single shift. Candidates will soon be able to retrieve their city slip and admit card from the official website natboard.edu.in.

According to the NBEMS notice dated June 2, 2025, the NEET-PG 2025 exam has been postponed to facilitate the establishment of additional test centers and necessary infrastructure. This information is detailed in the official notification.

Originally, the NBEMS intended to release the city intimation slip on June 2, 2025; however, the postponement has delayed the announcement of new dates for the city slip, admit card, and the examination itself.

As reported by Times of India, candidates who successfully pass the examination will proceed to the counselling stage for admission into MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will manage the counselling for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining seats will be handled by the respective state counselling authorities.
