NCERT Introduces Free Online Courses for 11th and 12th Grade Students
Overview of NCERT's Free Online Courses
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced the launch of complimentary online courses tailored for students in the 11th and 12th grades. Enrollment for these courses will commence on September 22, 2025, with the final examination scheduled for March 3, 2026. Students achieving over 60% in the exam will receive a certificate.
Enrollment and Examination Timeline
The enrollment period for these courses will open on September 22, 2025, and will remain available until February 20, 2026, allowing students a five-month window to register.
Course Duration
The courses will span a total of 24 weeks, providing students with around six months to complete all modules and chapters. The final assessment will take place on March 3, 2026, and students must register by March 2, 2026, to be eligible for the exam.
Available Subjects
NCERT has developed courses across various subjects for both Class 11 and Class 12. The subjects include:
- Class 11: Accountancy, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Physics, Psychology, Sociology.
- Class 12: Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology.
Each subject is organized into chapters and modules, allowing for a structured learning approach.
Course Structure and Benefits
Courses will be designed and delivered by qualified NCERT educators. Certification Upon Completion
