New Delhi: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have announced a significant recruitment for the year 2025, offering a total of 14,967 positions for both teaching and non-teaching roles. The detailed notification has been released by CBSE, indicating that online applications commenced on November 14, 2025, at 10 AM. Interested candidates can apply through the official websites: www.cbse.gov.in, kvsangathan.nic.in, or navodaya.gov.in.
The deadline for submitting applications and fees is December 4, 2025. Notably, this recruitment process will be managed entirely by CBSE, from the notification stage to the written examination, meaning that KVS and NVS recruitment will occur simultaneously. It is important to note that the application fee must be paid online. Age Limit Criteria
Age Limits:
Minimum Age: 18 years (for all positions)
PRT: Maximum 30 years
TGT: Maximum 35 years
PGT: Maximum 40 years
Vice Principal: 35–45 years
Principal: 35–50 years
Assistant Commissioner: Maximum 50 years
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC
Educational Qualifications Required
Educational Eligibility:
PRT: 50% marks in 10+2 + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed + CTET Paper 1 qualified
JSA: 12th pass + Typing speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi
MTS: 10th pass
Exam Pattern for KVS/NVS Positions
Exam Pattern (Tier-1) for Most Positions:
Two-hour OMR-based examination
100 questions, total of 300 marks
1 mark deducted for incorrect answers
Sections: Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Computer, General Knowledge, English, and one Indian Language
NVS MTS exam pattern is slightly different, but total marks and negative marking remain the same
