CTET September 2026 Exam Format
Exam Structure:
The CTET 2026 examination will be conducted offline in September using OMR sheets. It will consist of two papers: Paper I for those intending to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper II for those targeting Classes 6 to 8. Each paper will feature 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), totaling 150 marks. The duration for each paper is set at two and a half hours, and the question papers will be available in both Hindi and English.
CTET Certificate Validity and Attempts
Key Information:
The CTET eligibility certificate is valid for a lifetime for all candidates. Additionally, there is no cap on the number of attempts for the CTET exam. Candidates who have previously passed the exam can retake it to enhance their scores.

The CBSE has specified that candidates will not have the option to choose their exam city when filling out the application form; the Board will assign the exam city and date.
