Karnataka KCET 2026 Mock Seat Allotment Results Released
KCET 2026 Mock Seat Allotment Overview
KCET 2026 Mock Seat Allotment Results: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the mock seat allotment results for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) counselling. Candidates who have completed the option entry process can now access the official counselling portal to check their potential seat allotment.
The mock allotment serves to provide candidates with an insight into the colleges and courses they may secure based on their KCET rank, category, selected preferences, and available seats.
Modification of Choices
Deadline for Changing Options:
Candidates are permitted to modify their choices following the mock allotment release. They can add, delete, or rearrange their college and course preferences until 10:00 AM on July 9, 2026.
After this period, the actual seat allotment for the first round will be conducted based on the final choices locked by the candidates.
Clarifications on Mock Allotment
Is the Mock Allotment Final?
The KEA has made it clear that the mock seat allotment is intended to indicate probable outcomes and is not the final allotment. Therefore, candidates are not required to report to any college based on this result.
Additionally, colleges are instructed not to admit any candidates based on the mock allotment list.
Actual Seat Allotment Insights
Will the Same Seat Be Allotted?
Candidates who do not change their choices after the mock allotment cannot assume they will receive the same seat in the actual first-round allotment. Changes made by other candidates may affect the final seat distribution.
Eligible Candidates:
Only candidates whose KCET 2026 ranks were announced by June 29, 2026, are included in the mock seat allotment. Those with ranks declared after this date will be included directly in the actual first-round seat allotment.
