The examination is set to take place on February 14, 2027.

Exam Schedule
The IIT JAM 2027 will be conducted in two sessions on February 14:

Purpose of IIT JAM
The IIT JAM is primarily aimed at facilitating admissions into postgraduate and PhD programs at IITs. It covers various courses such as MSc, MSc (Tech.), MS (Research), MSc–MTech Dual Degree, Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree. For the academic session 2027-28, JAM 2027 will enable admission to 89 postgraduate courses across 23 IITs.
Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
Applicants who have completed their undergraduate degree or are in the final year of their qualifying degree in 2027 are eligible to register for JAM 2027.
Required Documents for Registration
During the registration process for IIT JAM 2027, candidates must provide the following documents:
- Class 10 or SSC mark sheet/certificate.
- Passport-sized photograph (3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height).
- Scanned signature on a white sheet using a black or dark blue pen.
- Category-specific certificate.
