ICAI Releases Exam Dates for January 2026 CA Sessions

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has unveiled the examination schedule for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation sessions set for January 2026. This information is now accessible online in PDF format on the official ICAI website, icai.org. The exams are scheduled to take place from January 5 to January 24, 2026, allowing candidates to plan their study schedules accordingly.

Detailed Exam Dates by Group and Course

The ICAI will administer the Final Course Group 1 exams on January 5, 7, and 9, 2026, while Group 2 exams are set for January 11, 13, and 16, 2026. For the Intermediate Course, Group I exams will occur on January 6, 8, and 10, 2026, and Group II exams on January 12, 15, and 16, 2026. Additionally, the Foundation Course exams are scheduled for January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.

Moreover, the Members' Examination will feature the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) on January 13 and 16, and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination (Modules I to IV) on January 9, 11, 13, and 16, 2026.

Exam Timing Details

All CA Intermediate papers will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with candidates allotted 3 hours for completion. The CA Foundation Paper 1 and Paper 2 will also take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, while Papers 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, each lasting 2 hours. For the final examination, Papers 1 to 5 will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Paper 6 will run from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, allowing 4 hours for completion.
