How to Obtain a Duplicate Scorecard for NEET, JEE, or CUET Exams
Guidelines for Obtaining Your Duplicate Scorecard
New Delhi: Have you found your scorecard missing after passing the NEET, JEE, or CUET exams? The absence of essential documents right before counseling can cause significant anxiety for students and their parents. However, there’s no need to panic.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recognized this widespread issue and has issued specific guidelines. They have clarified that students can easily obtain a duplicate scorecard officially by following a few simple steps.
Get Your Result Digitally Without Any Fees
If your scorecard is lost, the first step is to log in to the DigiLocker app or portal. The NTA has already uploaded students' digital documents there. If your scorecard is available, you can download it immediately without filling out any forms or paying any fees.
What to Do If It's Not Found on DigiLocker
If your mark sheet is not found in the digital locker, download the Annexure I form from the NTA website. Fill in your exam and personal details accurately. Once completed, convert the form and necessary documents into a PDF and email it to result@nta.gov.in. Alternatively, you can also send your application via registered or speed post to the NTA office in Delhi.
Essential Documents to Attach with Your Application
Make sure to include a copy of the FIR or lost report filed with the police along with your application. If the document is merely torn or damaged, you must send the original damaged scorecard. Additionally, include two passport-sized photographs, a self-attested copy of your ID, and proof of fee payment. Remember, students sending emails must also mail a hard copy within 15 days.
New Scorecard with QR Code Issued After Verification
The NTA will thoroughly verify your application and submitted documents against their previous exam records. Once the verification process is complete, a new scorecard will be issued. This duplicate scorecard will feature a digital signature, a unique verification ID, and a QR code for quick online verification, making it fully valid everywhere.
