Eligibility Criteria for Students

Compulsory Improvement Category (Class 10 Only): Students who have passed at least 3 out of 5 subjects can retake the exam for the 2 subjects they failed. They may also opt to improve their score in one subject they have already passed.


Optional Improvement Category (Class 10 Only): Students who have passed all subjects can take improvement exams in a maximum of 3 subjects.


Compartment Category (Class 10 Only): Students placed in the compartment category may appear for the examination as per Board regulations and can also opt for improvement in up to two previously passed subjects.


Compartment Category (Class 12 Only): Students in the compartment category can reappear for the exam by filling out the examination form according to the prescribed rules.


Optional Improvement Category (Class 12 Only): Students who have passed Class 12 may retake exams in one or more subjects to enhance their scores.


Examination Guidelines

Students must complete and submit their examination forms online through their respective schools within the specified timeframe.


New students will not be allowed to take the June/July 2026 examinations.


Subject changes will not be permitted after the main examination unless specifically allowed by Board regulations.


Marks from Internal Assessment and Practical Examinations from the main examination will be retained. Generally, no separate practical exams will be conducted for these candidates.


Forms that are incomplete or incorrectly submitted will be rejected.


In the final results, only the higher marks from the two examinations will be considered.
