Ghazibad Police Enforces Night DJ Ban During Board Exams

In a bid to support students during board examinations, Ghaziabad police have implemented a ban on DJ events and loud music after 10 PM. This decision aligns with the commencement of the UP Board exams on February 18, aimed at minimizing disturbances during this critical period. The police have also set guidelines to ensure sound levels remain within acceptable limits. As students prepare for their exams, the CBSE board has also begun its assessments, with millions of candidates participating. This article delves into the details of the restrictions and the ongoing examination schedules.

Nighttime DJ Restrictions Implemented

To alleviate the challenges faced by students during board examinations, the Ghaziabad police have imposed a ban on DJ events and loud music after 10 PM. This directive comes in light of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council's (UP Board) examinations that commenced on February 18.

According to the order, no DJ music will be permitted in any area of the district after 10 PM.

Guidelines Issued

Officials have also mandated that the sound levels of DJ systems must remain within the prescribed decibel limits. Operators who violate these regulations will face legal action.

These restrictions are particularly crucial during the ongoing wedding season, where multiple DJs are often employed at events, causing disturbances not only to students but also to nearby residents. The enforcement of Section 163 in Ghaziabad will remain in effect until midnight on March 27.
