GATE 2026 Scorecard: The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) has officially published the scorecards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. Candidates who participated in this examination can now access their scorecards by visiting the official website.
The GATE 2026 examination took place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2026. Following the exam, the provisional answer key was made available on February 27, 2026, allowing candidates to submit objections until March 1, 2026. The exam featured three question formats: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
Details Included in the Scorecard
The scorecard includes essential information such as the candidate's raw marks (out of 100), normalized GATE score (out of 1000), and All India Rank (AIR), which reflects their position among numerous candidates. It also specifies the qualifying marks for each paper, helping candidates evaluate their performance.
In addition, the scorecard contains important details like the candidate's name, registration number, paper code, and the score's validity period. This scorecard will be valid for three years and can be used for further education or recruitment purposes.
Steps to Download the Scorecard
To download the scorecard, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the official GATE 2026 website or the GOAPS portal.
- Click on the "GATE 2026 Scorecard" link on the homepage.
- Input your Enrollment ID/Email and Password.
- Complete the CAPTCHA verification displayed on the screen.
- After logging in, select the "Download Scorecard" option.
- The scorecard will be displayed in PDF format.
- Download it and print it for future reference. Candidates should ensure all details on their scorecard are accurate and keep it secure, as it will be necessary for future admissions and job applications.
