The Chief Election Officer has outlined the campaign conduct guidelines for the DUSU Election 2025. The university has specified that only handmade posters are allowed for campaigning on designated walls. Any incidents of defacement can be reported through the DUSU online portal or the college portal. Violations of these guidelines will result in strict penalties.
Monitoring and Oversight
Observer Teams to Monitor Elections:
Prof. Rajkishore Sharma indicated that the DUSU Election Committee, along with various oversight bodies including the distortion prevention committee, discipline committees, student grievance cell, university proctor board, and local police, will monitor the elections closely. Meetings have been held with potential candidates and student groups to ensure the elections are conducted fairly. Students have shown a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of the election process. The Chief Election Officer acknowledged the cooperation from students in upholding law and order and preventing disruptions. A team of observers will be deployed to colleges and nearby areas starting Monday to address any potential issues.
