Overview of the Academic Calendar


Delhi University Academic Calendar 2026-27: The academic calendar for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs for the 2026-27 session has been officially announced by Delhi University. Classes for Semesters I, III, V, and VII are set to begin on July 28, 2026 (Tuesday), while classes for even semesters (II, IV, VI, VIII) will kick off on January 1, 2027.


Autumn Break Details

Autumn Break:
The Autumn Break is scheduled from October 18 to October 25, 2026, with classes resuming on October 26.


Examination Schedule

Exams for UG and PG:
According to the academic calendar, classes will conclude, followed by preparatory leave and practical examinations starting November 20, 2026. Theory exams are slated to commence on December 4, 2026.


Winter Break Information

Winter Break:
The Winter Break will take place from December 25 to December 31, 2026.
