Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment Announcement


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened online applications for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) positions in the Delhi Police for the year 2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications at ssc.gov.in until October 20, 2025. The deadline for payment is set for October 21, 2025.


Correction Window: Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their applications from October 27 to 29, 2025. The Computer-Based Examination is scheduled to take place in December 2025 or January 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 509 Head Constable (Ministerial) positions, with 341 allocated for male candidates and 168 for female candidates.


Applicants must be aged between 18 and 25 years as of July 1, 2025, with age relaxations applicable for candidates from reserved categories. Application Fee Details


The application fee is set at Rs 100. However, women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempt from this fee.
