The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the City Intimation Slips and Admit Cards for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026, with the examination scheduled for May. Today marks the final opportunity for candidates to amend any discrepancies in the photographs submitted with their applications.
Final Opportunity for Photo Corrections
Due to discrepancies in photographs submitted by numerous applicants, the NTA has issued an advisory. Affected candidates are allowed to re-upload their photographs, with today—April 10—being the last day for these corrections.
Key Guidelines for Photo Uploads
Important Instructions:
- Applicants must submit a recent photograph along with their signature and necessary documents.
- The photograph and accompanying certificate must be attested by the Principal or Headmaster of the respective school or college.
- If these officials are unavailable, verification can be done by a Class-I Gazetted Officer (e.g., Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, DM, or an official from an Indian Embassy).
- The certificate (Annexure-1) should be uploaded in PDF format.
Examination Schedule
The CUET (UG) 2026 examination will take place from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The online registration for the CUET (UG) 2026 application forms was open from January 3 to February 4, 2026, and again from February 23 to February 26, 2026.
Release of Exam City Intimation Slip
The Exam City Intimation Slip for CUET UG 2026 will be issued before the Admit Card. This slip will indicate the city of the examination center, allowing candidates to plan their travel accordingly. The release is anticipated in the last week of April or the first week of May.
Admit Card Release Timeline
Typically, the NTA publishes admit cards a few days ahead of the examination. For CUET UG 2026, the Admit Card is expected to be available 3 to 5 days prior to the exam date. Given that the examination is scheduled for May 2026, the Admit Card is likely to be released in the first or second week of May.
