Changes in Application Process: A Seamless Transition The application process for CUET PG 2024, initiated by NTA on December 26, 2023, brings forth notable changes. The application form, once hosted on cuet.nta.nic.in, has transitioned to the new website, pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. This revamped platform not only streamlines the application process but also provides essential resources such as the information brochure, syllabus, and FAQs.

Exam Centres: Closer Look at Locations While the number of examination centres within India has reduced to 300, the overseas exam centres remain unchanged at 24. Candidates must carefully select two cities of preference based on their permanent address or current residence. Ensure you make informed choices for a smooth examination experience.

Application Fees: Financial Considerations Understanding the financial aspects is crucial. The application fees have increased by Rs 200 compared to the previous year. General category candidates now pay Rs 1,200, while OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS candidates pay Rs 1,000. Additional test papers incur a fee of Rs 600 each. International applicants will now pay Rs 6,000 for up to two tests, with an additional charge of Rs 2,000 for extra papers. Stay informed about the fees to plan accordingly.

Exam Duration and Question Format: Strategic Preparation The CUET PG exam duration has been reduced to 1 hour 45 minutes (105 minutes) from the previous 2 hours (120 minutes). The exam will be conducted in three shifts, and candidates will face 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), down from 100 questions in the previous year.
