Correction Window for CTET September 2026 Applications

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the online correction window for the CTET September 2026 application forms. This service will be accessible from September 7 to September 10, 2026.

Candidates who have submitted their applications for the CTET can make necessary adjustments during this period. It is crucial to note that any requests for changes after September 10 will not be accepted.

Eligibility for Corrections

The correction facility is available for candidates who successfully submitted their applications during the recent application period from August 25 to September 1, 2026. Additionally, those who applied for CTET between May 11 and June 10, 2026, can also modify their application details during this correction window. CBSE emphasizes that this facility will only be available for the specified duration, ending on September 10.

Reopening of the Application Process

The application process for CTET 2026 was reopened in August following directives from the Supreme Court. This decision was made to ensure eligible candidates could obtain the necessary Teacher Eligibility Test qualification. The initial application window was from May 11 to June 10, and after reopening on August 25, candidates had until September 1 to apply. Now, with the application phase concluded, the correction window is active.

New Exam Date Pending

Originally, the 22nd CTET examination was set for September 6, 2026, but this date has changed due to the reopening of the application process. CBSE has yet to announce a new date for the CTET 2026 exam, stating that updates regarding the revised schedule will be provided after the application portal closes.

Exam Format Details

The CTET will be conducted in offline mode, adhering to the exam pattern established by CBSE. The exam duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes, featuring multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options for each question. The CTET consists of two papers: Paper I for those intending to teach classes 1 to 5, and Paper II for those aiming to teach classes 6 to 8. Each paper will include 150 questions, with each question worth one mark. Importantly, there will be no negative marking, and candidates must achieve a minimum of 90 marks to pass.

1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in.

2. Click on the 'CTET SEP 2026 Correction Window' link found in the 'Candidate Activity' section on the homepage.

3. Log in using the required credentials.

4. Make the necessary changes to the application fields.

5. Submit the corrections and download the confirmation page.
