Provisional Answer Keys Released
On March 12, the CBSE published the provisional answer keys for CTET 2026, along with the scanned OMR answer sheets of the candidates. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the answer keys until March 15. The CTET 2026 exam comprised two papers: Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. Successful candidates can apply for teaching roles in Central Government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and Central Tibetan Schools, as well as schools managed by Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and Delhi-NCR. Additionally, CTET scores are also accepted by private educational institutions.

The CBSE will provide CTET mark sheets and eligibility certificates in a digital format through DigiLocker. These documents will be digitally signed, ensuring their legal validity. Both the marksheet and eligibility certificate will include an encrypted QR code for verification via the DigiLocker mobile app. All candidates will have DigiLocker accounts created for them, and login details will be sent to the mobile numbers registered with the CBSE, allowing them to download their digital documents.
Lifetime Validity of CTET Certificate
CTET Certificate Remains Valid for a Lifetime
The CTET eligibility certificate will remain valid indefinitely for all categories. There are no limits on the number of attempts a candidate can make to secure a CTET certificate. Moreover, individuals who have previously passed the CTET can retake the exam to enhance their scores.
