CTET 2026 Announcement
CTET 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially revealed the schedule for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. As per the announcement, the CTET for February 2026 is set to take place on February 8, 2026. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted on the same day across 132 cities and in 20 different languages.
Information Bulletin and Application Process
A comprehensive information bulletin will soon be available on the CTET website. This bulletin will provide essential details regarding the syllabus, languages offered, eligibility requirements, examination fees, test cities, and key dates. Candidates interested in applying are encouraged to download the bulletin from the official CTET website and review it thoroughly before submitting their applications. Applications must be completed online exclusively through the CTET website.
CTET 2026 Application Fees
Paper-1 (for Classes I to V):
General/OBC (NCL): ₹1000
SC/ST/PWD: ₹500
Paper-2 (for Classes VI to VIII):
General/OBC (NCL): ₹1000
SC/ST/PWD: ₹500
Both Papers (Paper-1 and Paper-2):
General/OBC (NCL): ₹1200
SC/ST/PWD: ₹600
CTET Exam Pattern
Paper-1 (for Classes I to V)
CTET Paper-1 will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, with a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each question is worth one mark.

Language-2: 30 Questions
Mathematics: 30 Questions
Environmental Studies: 30 Questions
