The CTET is conducted at two levels: Paper 1 (for Primary Teachers) and Paper 2 (for Upper Primary Teachers). Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) can apply for Paper 1. Additionally, certain B.Ed. graduates are also eligible according to CBSE guidelines. For Paper 2, candidates must possess a two-year B.Ed. degree or a four-year integrated B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed. degree.
