CSIR UGC NET December Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination on its website. The scorecards were made available following the finalization of the answer key and the review of candidate objections.
The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination took place in a computer-based format nationwide. Conducted on December 18, 2025, the exam was held in two shifts across 220 centers throughout India. A total of 2,12,552 candidates registered for five subjects, which included Life Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
Gender-wise Candidate Statistics:
Among the registered candidates, there were 1,25,748 women, 86,801 men, and 3 individuals from the third gender. Out of these, 1,54,080 candidates appeared for the exam, comprising 93,193 women, 60,886 men, and 1 from the third gender. Here’s the breakdown:
