Changes to Syllabus and Exam Format:
The governing body of the Consortium has confirmed that there will be no modifications to the syllabus, sections, or exam pattern for both UG and PG CLAT 2027 papers.
Nevertheless, the CLAT 2027 Convener and the experts responsible for crafting the question papers have been directed to consider the suggestions from the CLAT Expert Committee report regarding the quality and format of questions, as feasible.
Feedback on Expert Committee Report
Invitation for Suggestions:
The Consortium has published the CLAT Expert Committee Report 2026 on its official website. Students, experts, and the public are encouraged to provide their feedback through an online form, with the submission deadline set for August 31, 2026.
Future Recommendations for CLAT 2028
Consideration of Recommendations:
During a meeting on May 17, 2026, at the National Judicial Academy in Bhopal, chaired by the Consortium's President, it was decided that the Office of the Chief Justice of India (CJI) would form a committee to further evaluate the expert committee's recommendations.
The Consortium will collaborate with this proposed committee to finalize the examination framework for CLAT 2028, incorporating both the expert committee's suggestions and public feedback.
