CBSE Launches Psycho-Social Counseling Initiative



The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated a complimentary Psycho-Social Counseling service aimed at assisting students preparing for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in 2026. This program is designed to help students cope with exam-related stress and enhance their confidence as they gear up for their theory exams, which commence on February 17, 2026, and will be available until June 1, 2026.

1. 24/7 Toll-Free IVRS Service



  • Contact Number: 1800-11-8004

  • Available in both Hindi and English

  • Offers guidance on stress-free studying, time management, stress management, FAQs, and essential CBSE contact information.

  • The IVRS service guarantees immediate assistance whenever required.


2. Tele-Counseling Service



  • Accessible from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM

  • 73 trained professionals are available for consultations, including:


    • Principals

    • School counselors

    • Special educators

    • Qualified psychologists


  • Includes 61 counselors in India and 12 counselors located in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and UAE

  • Provides personalized mental support for both students and their parents.


3. Digital Resources
