CBSE Announces Extended Deadline for Answer Book Scans

CBSE Answer Book Scan Copy 2026: Students preparing for the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations in 2026 have received encouraging news. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to extend the deadline for requesting scanned copies of answer sheets. Recently, numerous students encountered challenges while submitting their applications due to overwhelming traffic and technical issues on the CBSE website. To address this, the Board has granted an additional day for students to complete their applications.

**Website Traffic and Technical Issues**

The CBSE has reported that its official website has been under significant strain from high traffic levels in recent days. Additionally, there were technical disruptions caused by unauthorized attempts to access the site. As a result, many students were unable to submit their applications on time. Considering these challenges, the Board has opted to extend the application deadline.

**New Application Deadline**

As per the latest notification from CBSE, students can now submit their applications for scanned copies of their answer books until May 24, 2026.

**Previous Deadline**

The original deadline for applications was May 23, 2026, which has now been pushed to May 24, 2026.

**Extra Time for Re-evaluation**

CBSE has also announced that students who receive their scanned copies will have an additional two days to apply for further processes, including 'Verification of Issues Observed' and 'Re-evaluation.' This extension allows students sufficient time to review their answer sheets before taking the next steps.

**Advice for Students**

The Board has encouraged students to utilize this extended deadline and ensure their applications are submitted on time. CBSE has confirmed that all previously established terms and conditions will remain unchanged.

**Importance of Scanned Copies**

Many students are unhappy with their grades and wish to understand how their answer sheets were assessed. By obtaining a scanned copy, students can review their evaluations; if they find discrepancies, they can request verification or re-evaluation. This decision has provided relief to those who faced technical difficulties in applying.
