CBSE Extends Deadline for Class 12 Answer Sheet Copies Amid Technical Issues
CBSE Deadline Extension for Class 12 Students
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently prolonged the deadline for Class 12 students to request scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets for the 2026 board exams. This decision comes after the online portal intended for this purpose faced significant functionality issues. Although the application process began on May 20, many students are still encountering problems. Some are struggling with payment issues, while others have successfully completed transactions but are not seeing any updates or statuses on the website. As a result, students have taken to social media to express their frustrations about the portal's unreliability and inaccessibility. They are now calling for another extension of the application deadline.
Numerous students have reported that even after making payments, the website indicates that their transactions have "Failed." One user shared their experience on social media, stating: "I am experiencing payment issues on the CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation portal. I made a UPI payment yesterday, and while the money has been deducted from my account, the portal has not updated my status. The CBSE's landline numbers are perpetually busy, and I have yet to receive any response to my emails."
