Commencement of Re-evaluation for CBSE Class 12

Today marks the start of the re-evaluation and verification process for students who participated in the CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. Those who are not satisfied with their results from the compartment exam can begin applying for a review of their answer sheets starting August 31. The last date to request a scanned copy of the answer sheet is September 1, 2026.

Application Process for Verification and Re-evaluation

Once students receive their scanned answer sheets, they can proceed to apply for marks verification or re-evaluation as per the schedule set by the Board. It is essential for candidates to submit their applications online within the specified timeframe.

Important Dates for Applications

Students will have the opportunity to review their scanned answer sheets. If they find any discrepancies in their marks or wish to have a particular question reassessed, they can apply for marks verification and re-evaluation from September 7 to September 8, 2026.

Fee Structure

The following fees apply for the application process:

1. ₹100 for obtaining the scanned copy of the answer sheet.

2. ₹100 per answer sheet for marks verification.

3. ₹100 per question for re-evaluation.

Steps to Apply

The application process for obtaining the scanned copy of the answer sheet is currently open. To request the scanned copy, visit the portal at https://apps.cbseit.in/rchk/default.aspx, select "Photocopy of Answer Book," fill in the necessary details, and register.

The application window for re-evaluation will be available from September 7 to September 8. Students can submit their applications during this period for re-evaluation of their answer sheets.

Overview of Results

A total of 291,576 students registered for the CBSE Supplementary Examination, with 275,287 students actually appearing for the exam. Among these, 111,056 students participated in the improvement examination, while 164,231 students took the compartment examination. The overall pass percentage recorded stands at 53.08%.
