CBSE Class 12 Results Update: DigiLocker Ready, Evaluation Ongoing
DigiLocker Prepared for Result Release
Many students are under the impression that an 'APAAR ID' is necessary to access their results. However, the Board has confirmed that students without this ID can still set up their DigiLocker accounts.
Anticipation Grows for CBSE Class 12 Results
Excitement is building among the thousands of students who took the CBSE Class 12 exams. DigiLocker has hinted that results may be released shortly, having issued its second significant update in just two days. However, internal reports from the Board indicate complications in the evaluation process, leading to uncertainty among students.
DigiLocker Updates and Student Preparations
The buzz around the results intensified when DigiLocker announced that Class 12 results would soon be accessible on its platform. This announcement, being the second in two days, has led students to believe that results could be available within the next 24 to 48 hours. To prevent last-minute rushes and potential website crashes, the government has advised students to activate their DigiLocker accounts ahead of time.
Checking Results Without an APAAR ID
Students often think that an 'APAAR ID' is essential for viewing their results. The Board has clarified that those without this ID can still create DigiLocker accounts.
Steps to Activate Your DigiLocker Account
To activate your account, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official DigiLocker portal: cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in.
2. Click on the ‘Get Started’ button.
3. Fill in your personal information along with the 6-digit Access Code provided by your school.
4. Enter your mobile number and verify it using the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to that number.
Once activated, you will be able to view your digital marksheet on the results day.
Ongoing Evaluation of Answer Sheets
While preparations for the results are progressing on various digital platforms, reliable sources within the CBSE have indicated that the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets is still in progress. Some answer sheets that could not be scanned due to technical issues or poor internet connectivity are currently being assessed manually. Special teams of teachers are working at several centers in and around Delhi to check these answer sheets using traditional methods.
Expected Announcement Date for Results
Initially, students expected the results to be announced on May 12 or 13. However, due to the ongoing evaluation of answer sheets, it now seems unlikely that results will be declared before May 15. Experts predict that the results could be announced anytime between May 15 and May 20.
