CBSE Board Exams 2025: Important Updates on Student Data Verification
Overview of CBSE Board Exams for 2025
CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct three board examinations in 2026, which include two for class 10 and one for class 12. The first class 10 exam is scheduled for February-March, followed by a second exam in May. Preparations are already underway, and CBSE has issued guidelines to school principals regarding the List of Candidates (LOC) for the upcoming board examinations.
Requirements for Student Data
Schools are required to provide accurate and updated information about their students. This includes details such as the full name, date of birth, gender, category, parents' names, subject-wise registration, photograph, signature, and APAAR ID. Additionally, CBSE has introduced a new system aimed at rectifying errors in the mark sheets and certificates for classes 10 and 12.
Issuance of Data Verification Slip
A data verification slip will be issued following the LOC.
As per the circular from CBSE, once schools release the list of board examinees, a data verification slip will be generated for students. This slip will facilitate corrections based on the information provided. It will include the candidate's name, parent/guardian details, date of birth, and subjects for the board exam. Any discrepancies noted on the slip can be corrected accordingly.
Correction Opportunities Before Exams
Opportunity to correct before the exam
CBSE has emphasized that any errors found in the data verification slip can be amended prior to the board exams. The circular states that corrections can be made in the application form from October 13 to October 27. After this period, no further corrections will be accepted by the board.
